Universal module for reading and writing for locked 06.2020+ Bosch MG1/MD1 Gen2 ECUs.

Attention! Module works only with Scanmatik SM2 Pro or SM3. Also it needs to connect ECU on the bench with any adapter with automatic power management (SM2 bench cable, BITS001, BITS002, Powerbox, etc...).

Attention! This protocol requires confident ECU opening and soldering skills.

All ECU modifications and use of this solution are performed entirely at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for damaged ECUs, lost data, or damaged equipment.

Damaged or “bricked” ECUs are not considered a support case. Technical support does not cover ECU repair, recovery, replacement, or compensation for any related expenses.

Allows unlocking of locked ECUs in BSL mode using Voltage Glitch, as well as BENCH reading and writing Flash memory (after unlocking) with automatic detection of the processor type and memory size, and reading and writing EEPROM. ECU opening is required for BSL unlocking. Checksum correction is performed automatically during writing.

Works only with Scanmatik SM2 PRO/SM3 J2534 adapters. Driver updates are required —

To unlock the ECU in BSL mode, OR pin 13 of the Scanmatik must be connected through a Zener diode and a tantalum capacitor according to the manual, OR the BITS002 adapter can be used.

We strongly recommend reading EVERYTHING provided in the manual before starting any work.
